Our client is an international, fast growing and well known Finance Company with high reputation. To strengthen the Fixed Income Team we are searching for a Senior Portfolio Manager Global High Yield Bonds.
Duties:
- A challenging position focusing on the management of Global High Yield Bond Funds and Asset-Class responsibility
- Sourcing and development of investment opportunities across credit Asset-Classes, geographies and quality spectrum (focus on developed markets especially in Europe and EEMA); affinity to look at special situations and event-driven investment approach
- Direct client contact including pitching – personal sales efforts are assumed
- Preparation of various due diligence materials for investment team meetings and for presentations to investment committees
- Collaboration with the multi-credit investment team to refine our corporate bottom-up security selection process
- Participation in the risk analysis of respective portfolios and monitoring process
Requirements:
- Academic background (preferably a Master’s degree in Business, Finance or a quantitative discipline, FH) is required
- CFA, FRM and / or CAIA designations are highly desirable
- Minimum of 5 years of investment experience in the corporate bond universe (preferably in an institutional environment)
- Proven track record in managing high yield bond portfolios
- Investment experience in special situations and cross-capital structure investments
- Robust analytical skills and a thorough understanding of performance and risk metrics
- Good knowledge of MS office applications (PowerPoint, Excel) and Bloomberg - Programming skills are beneficial
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong collaborative relationships with team members, partners and our clients
- Strong work ethic and the highest degree of honesty and integrity
Languages: Fluency in English (written and spoken). German or any other language is desirable
